Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts, just been super super busy xx.
So I got my hair cut.
My hair type is thick, long and frizzy. The texture of my hair changes. One day it will be dead straight, the next it will have a slight wave. I have oily roots and dry ends. I would call my hair colour a mix between very light brown and golden blonde. I cut my hair very short about three years ago and this is it now. A lot of people ask how I grow my hair. It's simple, don't do anything. I don't wash it everyday, I don't blow dry it, I don't use heat on my hair at all. Honestly maybe once a month at the most. Also, very thick hair runs in my family. My younger sister has very long hair, around the same length as mine but her's is very fine.
So yeah, basically I just felt like a changed and so I just cut it. Oops.. :)
Question is, do I love it? And the answer is.....
Before:
After:
YES!
Basically I asked the hairdresser to cut it to about 5cm below my shoulders, to have some long layers and to thin out the ends. This is what I ended up with. And yes, I am wearing my onesie in the photo above :). It cost me $30 for a wash, cut, blow-dry and style. AMAZING if you ask me.
Thanks

Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara
Hey guys! I'm going to give you my first impressions of the Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara.
I curled my lashes before applying the mascara. The top cap is supposed to give length and the bottom cap is supposed to give volume. It also claims to have no clumps.
As you can see from the photos the mascara was very clumpy. No matter how many times I brushed through my lashes, it kept clumping. It was also very very wet. I prefer mascaras to be not too wet, but not too dry. The extra step is just more of a hassle. I'd rather just do one coat of mascara and be done. It was too clumpy to wear out, but after I did this I applied a very small amount of the lengthening coat. It lasted pretty well. When I tried to wash off this mascara it wasn't a huge nightmare to get off, but it wasn't the easiest. Overall, I'm not impressed with this mascara and won't be using it any time soon.
Thanks,
~lovelyandluscious xx

How I Do Eyeliner
Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post last week. I had a massive dilemma. I won't go into too much detail but basically I just couldn't post. Anyway, on with the actual blog post.
Today I'm going to show you how I do my eyeliner. It's pretty simple and easy, and it is quick to apply. I didn't do any eyeshadow or fill in my eyebrows before doing this so you could see it better, but if I was doing this on a normal day, I would do that before hand.
Step 1. After applying eyeshadow, do a line on your top lashes. Do this line as thick as you want.
Step 2. Make a little flick going from your bottom lash line outwards. Connect the end of that line with the line on your top lashes. Make the wing as long and as thick as you want.
Step 3. Fill in the wing.
Step 4. Tight line your upper lash line.
Step 5. Apply mascara
Done! Pretty easy isn't it? Don't worry if your eyeliner isn't perfect the first time, just keep practicing and it will look amazing in no time!
Thanks,
~lovelyandluscious xx

Mix Match Nail Art
Hey guys, I thought I would show you what's on my nails! I love love love mix match nail art because it's so different and unique. On my nails I did some purple glitter, a glittery galaxy type thing, a tie-dye and glitter nail, an ombre nail and a heart nail.
Before doing any design I used a base coat on all my nails. For my glitter nail I did 2 coats of white. Then I did a layer of small silver glitter. On top of that I did a couple of coats of purple glitter. This glitter has different sizes of glitter so I gives it a really cool effect.
For my galaxy nail I did a layer of very dark, almost black, purple. Then I did a very thin layer of metallic blue. Then I did lots of layers of the silver glitter, and the pink and blue glitter.
For my tie-dye nail I just did lots of random dots of light pink, hot pink and blue. Then I did a thin layer of the pink and blue glitter.
For the ombre nail I used a makeup sponge and put the pink and blue on it. Then I sponged that on my nail to blend them.
On the heart nail I did two layers of white for the base. Then for the heart I used the light pink and made a heart shape.
To finish this look I did a fast drying top coat on all the nails to make the design last longer.

June Favourites
Hey guys! Sorry that this blog post isn't amazing, I'm extremely sick but hopefully I be better soon. Today I'm going to show you what I have been loving in June.
I am loving Natio Pressed Powder in Light to set my makeup. It keeps everything in place and has a nice feel on the skin.
The Revlon Eyelash curler is amazing. I love using these to curl my lashes (obviously, hehe) and it keeps them curled all day.
I love using Maybelline Express Manicure Top Coat when I paint my nails. It's a quick drying top coat so it dries really fast and stops nails from chipping.
Modelista Eyeshadow Palette is a rainbow palette and the colours are amazing! They are high quality and have good pigment, except for the yellow colour. I will be doing a makeup look using this palette soon.
Manicare 512 Brush is a big, soft and fluffy brush. I use this for everything! I used it for powder, bronzer, blush and blending. It's an amazing brush and I would definitely recommended it.
Covergirl Professional Eye Enhancers in Country Woods is the most amazing neutral palette. It's amazing for travelling because its so small. I use the lightest matte shade all over my lid and on my brow bone. Then I use to chocolate brown in my crease and blend it out.
I have been wearing the Rimmel London Kate Moss 107 Lasting Finish Lipstick almost everyday. It's the perfect winter colour. I wear it during the day with bold brows and simple eyes. Then at night I put on a little more eyeliner to make it more dramatic. It's my new favourite lipstick.
That's what I have been loving this month. Again, sorry this isn't extremely interesting but I am super duper sick. Thanks.

Hey guys I thought I would show you these new boots I brought the other day.
They are kind of work boots/riding boots I guess. I don't really know how to describe them, but I love them. I wore these to a friend's birthday party and got a lot of compliments. These are from New Look and I bought them on sale for $39.99.

Rimmel London Kate Moss 107 Lasting Finish Lipstick
Hi everyone today I'm going to show you some swatches of the Rimmel London Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 107 and my first impressions.
First I will say that this lipstick is a beautiful colour and is perfect for Autumn/Winter time. It's a deep red, slightly berry toned, colour. This swatch it on my hand but I've found it goes on darker on the lips. It has a subtle sweet scent but it's really hard to smell it unless you put the tube right up to your nose. The packaging is red with Kate's signature written on it in black. I love this packaging and really like this lipstick. It last for a couple of hours without a primer or lip liner.
Overall I just really love this lipstick and I think I will be wearing it heaps throughout the colder months.
If you have any questions or request please feel free to leave a comment. If you want lip swatches I will have a lip swatch post coming soon.
Thanks

May Favourites
Hello everyone!
Since it is almost the end of May, I decided to show you what I have been loving this month. (I will only be posting on Wednesday from now on because of school stuff)
The first thing I have been loving the combo of my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles in Light Pale and my Real Techniques Contour Brush. I love this concealer for my under eyes because it is a tiny bit lighter than my skin tone so it just brightens up under my eyes and conceals my dark circles. I love this brush for setting powder under my eyes.
I also love the Maybelline the Falsies mascara because it makes your lashes look amazing.
I have been loving bright lips this month. My favourite has been the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 210 Unapologetic.
I love using the lightest shade from the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD palette in 001 Black Cab to brighten my inner corners.
I have been loving the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 170 Genuine Plum. This is a dusty pink colour with a tiny bit of shimmer. This looks so lovely on the cheeks and just gives you a natural rosy glow. It does last for quite a long time which is good.
Thanks

Real Techniques Brush Review
Hi guys! Sorry I didn't post at all last week I was just so busy.
So today I'm going to be reviewing some Real Techniques Brushes, hope you like it. (By the way, my brushes are a bit dirty, but it's on my to-do list to clean them!)
Expert Face Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for cream or liquid foundation. I use this for my liquid foundation, concealer and cream blush. It quite dense but has enough give so that it blends everything amazingly. This is one of my favourite brushes.
Pointed Foundation Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for liquid foundation. I use this brush for concealer because I feel that it is just too small to be able to use for your whole face. This is good to use if you have large pores because it helps to make them look a little bit smaller. It very thin and pointed and good for building up concealer.
Contour Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for contour or highlight. I use it for contour, highlight and blush. It amazing for highlight. If you want precision contour, I would use this brush. It is nice for blush but I don't use it for blush often because its a tiny bit too small. Its tapered and dense enough to put on product but it doesn't put on too much.
Detailer Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for pin-point concealing or as a lip brush. I use it for exactly what it says on the website because it is amazing for lipstick. Also, it you are wearing maybe light makeup look and you just want to conceal one tiny blemish, it would be great.
Buffing Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for powder and mineral foundation. I use this for liquid foundation, powder foundation and setting powder. This brush is dense but very fluffy. I use this brush everyday and it one of my favourites.
These brushes look nice and feel smooth. They have a metallic orange tube with black endings because they are part of the Your Base Flawless collection. The brush is synthetic and 100% cruelty free which is great. They are amazing quality. They are so soft and feel great when putting on your makeup. They wash really well and the makeup comes off pretty easily. I haven't experienced any shedding at all and I have had these brushes for over 4 months. I have had the expert face brush for over 6 months and no shedding at all! Thats amazing. I would definitely recommend these brushes.
