May Favourites

Hello everyone!

Since it is almost the end of May, I decided to show you what I have been loving this month. (I will only be posting on Wednesday from now on because of school stuff)

From left to right: Rimmel Glam Eyes HD palette in 001 Black Cab, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 210 Unapologetic, Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 170 Genuine Plum.

The first thing I have been loving the combo of my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles in Light Pale and my Real Techniques Contour Brush. I love this concealer for my under eyes because it is a tiny bit lighter than my skin tone so it just brightens up under my eyes and conceals my dark circles. I love this brush for setting powder under my eyes.

I also love the Maybelline the Falsies mascara because it makes your lashes look amazing.

I have been loving bright lips this month. My favourite has been the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 210 Unapologetic.

I love using the lightest shade from the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD palette in 001 Black Cab to brighten my inner corners.

I have been loving the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 170 Genuine Plum. This is a dusty pink colour with a tiny bit of shimmer. This looks so lovely on the cheeks and just gives you a natural rosy glow. It does last for quite a long time which is good.

Thanks

Real Techniques Brush Review

Hi guys! Sorry I didn't post at all last week I was just so busy.

So today I'm going to be reviewing some Real Techniques Brushes, hope you like it. (By the way, my brushes are a bit dirty, but it's on my to-do list to clean them!)

Expert Face Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for cream or liquid foundation. I use this for my liquid foundation, concealer and cream blush. It quite dense but has enough give so that it blends everything amazingly. This is one of my favourite brushes.

Pointed Foundation Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for liquid foundation. I use this brush for concealer because I feel that it is just too small to be able to use for your whole face. This is good to use if you have large pores because it helps to make them look a little bit smaller. It very thin and pointed and good for building up concealer.

Contour Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for contour or highlight. I use it for contour, highlight and blush. It amazing for highlight. If you want precision contour, I would use this brush. It is nice for blush but I don't use it for blush often because its a tiny bit too small. Its tapered and dense enough to put on product but it doesn't put on too much.

Detailer Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for pin-point concealing or as a lip brush. I use it for exactly what it says on the website because it is amazing for lipstick. Also, it you are wearing maybe light makeup look and you just want to conceal one tiny blemish, it would be great.

Buffing Brush:
On the Real Techniques website it says to use this brush for powder and mineral foundation. I use this for liquid foundation, powder foundation and setting powder. This brush is dense but very fluffy. I use this brush everyday and it one of my favourites.

These brushes look nice and feel smooth. They have a metallic orange tube with black endings because they are part of the Your Base Flawless collection. The brush is synthetic and 100% cruelty free which is great. They are amazing quality. They are so soft and feel great when putting on your makeup. They wash really well and the makeup comes off pretty easily. I haven't experienced any shedding at all and I have had these brushes for over 4 months. I have had the expert face brush for over 6 months and no shedding at all! Thats amazing. I would definitely recommend these brushes.

Little Mix Makeup Review

Hello guys.

Today I'm going to review what I have from Little Mix by Collection. I have two things from Perrie, two things from Leigh-Anne and one from Jesy.

Eye shadow:

Perrie's trio palette has a shimmery black with black and sliver glitter, a shimmery grey and a shimmery nude-beige colour. The black isn't very pigmented and you really have to work to get much colour. The grey one is more pigmented than the black but it's not mind-blowing amazing. The nude colour is more just shimmery than any colour. The quality of this palette is pretty good for the price. The lasting power of these are awesome. I say they last about 4-6 hours on me and I haven't experienced any creasing. I would recommend this palette if you like Little Mix and want some darker colours.

Leigh-Annes trio has a dark shimmery brown, a shimmery gold-brown and a light shimmery gold colour with sliver glitter. These shadows are a lot more pigmented than the Perrie ones. The dark brown is really pigmented, it's insane. The middle colour is very creamy and probably my favourite colour. It is also very pigmented. The lightest won is nice but the sliver glitter has a lot of fall out. The quality of this palette is fabulous. These shadows are the same as the Perrie ones; they last really good and no creasing which is amazing. I would recommend this palette, even if you aren't a fan of Little Mix.

The packaging is simple with the Little Mix logo and a sticker to represent which palette is which girl's. The top is clear so you can see what colours are there. On the back is some more info about the shadows. The writing is in a green aqua colour. Overall I love the packaging.

Lipstick:

I was only supposed to get Perrie and Jesy's lipstick but I accidentally got Leigh-Anne's lipstick and now I really want Jade's. It feels incomplete! First off these lipsticks are amazing quality, what you see in the bullet is what you get on your lips. They feel creamy and amazing!

Perrie's lipstick is a blue toned purple with pink hues. This lipstick is to die for. The colour is absolutely amazing. This is definitely my favourite item from this collection. I wear this lipstick all the time. I would recommend this lipstick to anyone.

Jesy's lipstick is a bright true red but it is the slightest bit orange-toned. It has a creamy satin finish. I really like this lipstick. If you love reds and Little Mix, definitely check this out.

Leigh-Anne's lipstick is a darker more blue toned red than Jesy's. It also has a satin finish and is very creamy. This lipstick is my second favourite and I would recommend this.

These last pretty well. They aren't extremely long lasting, but they don't claim to be so I can't hold that against them. After about three hours they start to fade and go a bit more matte, but they don't dry out the lips at all. The scent of these lipsticks is amazing! It's a very subtle fruity-sweet smell. The packaging is beautiful. It's a black tube with some of the same aqua green colour on it. The lid has the Little Mix logo on it which is very pretty. On the bottom of the tube it has the colour and name of the lipstick. In inside is sliver and it just twists up. The sliver part does hold finger prints so that's a bit annoying but other than that I adore the packaging.

Overall this collection is really for the price. If you are thinking about whether to get it or not, I think just go for it because these are amazing. I got mine from Ebay but I will link you to the Collection website here so you can see the other products from the range.

Mini Haul and First Impressions

So today I went to Priceline, which is a drugstore in Australia, and bought some new makeup! I'm so excited with what I bought and I'm going to show you what I bought and my first impressions. Most of theses are from Rimmel and there isn't a lot but I thought I would show you.

The other day my mum bought me Maybelline the Falsies mascara. I have only had this for a couple of days but I already really like it. It just makes your lashes long and voluminous. I like the packaging and the brush is nice.

Today I bought the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 210 Unapologetic. This is a light slightly orange toned pink colour. I love this colour. It has a subtle minty lemon scent and does make your lips tingle a bit so keep that in mind when buying if you don't like that. I love the packaging and it's easy to just through in your makeup bag to touch up throughout the day.

I also bought the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer in 303 Apocaliptic. This is a slightly dark pink berry colour. I really like this colour. It is like a mix between a lipstick and a lipgloss and the formula is really nice. However, the scent is not very nice. It's a plasticly, off play dough smell. Its just not very nice. That doesn't bother me, though if you are sensitive to lip product smells I wouldn't buy this.

For face products I only bought a blush. I got the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 170 Genuine Plum. This is a dusty pink colour with a tiny bit of shimmer. This looks so lovely on the cheeks and just gives you a natural rosy glow. This is supposed to be long lasting and smudge resistant. I have been wearing it for about two hours and it hasn't come off at all. I know thats not a long time but I haven't worn it for a long time yet so I will keep you updated if you want.

From left to right: Revlon Matte Balm 210 Unapologetic, Rimmel Apocalips 303 Apocaliptic, Rimmel Blush 170 Genuine Plum

For my eyes I bought an eye quad I guess it is. It is the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD palette in 001 Black Cab.  It has four colours; a black, a dark grey, a light grey and a white. All of them are very shimmery with sliver glitter. The pigmentation is pretty good. I haven't worn these yet so I don't know how long lasting they are. The shape is kind of annoying because the greys and blacks are so small that I can hardly get a brush in the to get any product.

Lastly I bought a Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in 001 Black. This is very creamy and soft. It just feels so lovely to apply. It is also waterproof so it is very long lasting. I love the packaging because it is just nice a simple.

So thats it! Thats so much for reading this and make sure to check back on Wednesday for a new post.
From now on I will try to post everyone Wednesday and Sunday.
